I came back to painting around tenyears ago after raising my son and daughter. I cannot remember a time when art was not important to me and I love painting with watercolour.

It is unpredictable and wilful - this is what makes it exciting. I get thrilled by happy accidents and am rewarded by small victories in trying to control the medium.

The paintings on this website are examples of my current work and though my subject matter is varied, (townscapes, still life, gardens), the musicians were a wonderful surprise, I had never painted people before - the style is the same. Free and looses, hopefully becoming freer and looser!!

I have exhibited regularly in Shropshire and am hoping to arrange further exhibitions at a Gallery called 'Art Attack' in Chester
